Our Skills Development workshops have been created specifically to help members grow their business inside and outside of BNI.
Presented by Executive Director and National Trainer, Claudia Lowry, these two hour workshops will be hosted on the last Wednesday of every month from 12pm to 2pm in Century City.
Seats are limited to 14 per workshop, book early to avoid disappointment!

Networking Skills Workshop – 28 March 2018 (completed)
How much business do you generate from your networking skills? Could you improve your effectiveness when walking into a room full of members and guests, or a room full of strangers? A two hour workshop combining behavioural, communication and personal interaction skills to increase your profits.
Referral Skills Workshop – 25 April 2018 (completed)
How to get your fellow members to bring you more serious business and a host of creative ways of bringing new business for your fellow chapter members. The workshop will show you what to do and what to focus on to maximise your time and make it easier for you to give and get quality referrals.
121 Workshop – 30 May 2018 (completed)
This workshop is dedicated to building relationships with your fellow members by having effective 121 meetings! A 121 meeting is about generating business through enhanced relationships. How effective are you when doing 121s? This workshop will help you build better relationships with your Chapter members (which leads to more business), as well as showing you how you can get more business directly from your 121s.
Advanced 121 Workshop – 27 June 2018 (completed)
This NEW workshop is dedicated to building relationships with your fellow members by having effective 1-2-1 meetings!
What’s the point of a 1-1 meeting with one of your fellow members? A quick chat? A catch-up on the football/soaps? NO! A 1-1 meeting should be about generating business through enhanced relationships! How effective are you when doing 1-1s?
This workshop will help you build better relationships with your chapter members (which leads to more business), as well as showing you how you can get more business directly from your 1-1s.
Power Team Workshop – 25 July 2018
Although the Power Team Focus will run for just a few months, the aim is for Power Team Development to become a long-term initiative that underpins and drives each chapter’s growth and success. It’s not about producing a sudden burst of extra business: good Power Team practice will generate healthy new revenues for years to come.
Come to this workshop to learn how to harness the power of people around you who frequently meet your target market. This workshop will help you find referrals for your fellow members more easily and gain referrals in your chapter.

Presentation Skills Workshop – 31 October 2018
Do your weekly presentation, feature presentation and other presentations fill you with dread? Did you ever feel afterward that you winged it or that you forgot some relevant points?
If the answer is YES to either of these questions, then this workshop is for you. This business skills workshop will help you with: preparing and making a presentation to generate more business, how to appeal to your audience, structuring and selecting material to get your message across & using visual aids.
